Integrating JD Edwards EnterpriseOne into SharePoint with a web services-based solution requires a development effort that can be both costly and time-consuming. Our customers avoid these issues by deploying InFlight Foundation web parts.

In this short video you’ll see how the InFlight Foundation Content Viewer web part is quickly and easily added to a SharePoint page. The user then identifies the url for the Self-Service Work Order Entry functionality inside of JD Edwards by navigating to that within the application. The user then clicks on the tools icon and then the “parameterized url” .

The parameterized url is then copied to the clip board and pasted into Notepad. From Notepad the url gets pasted into the ‘Target Content URL’ field in the InFlight Foundation web part and hits ‘save’. That’s it!  Integrating JD Edwards into SharePoint is that easy and requires zero development! In addition, InFlight offers single sign-on (SSO) from SharePoint into JD Edwards so users won’t be presented with the JD Edwards login page.

This enables you to expose more than just the JDE data inside of your SharePoint intranet portal. InFlight lets you expose compete sets of JDE application functionality. As a result, you  can quickly and easily add back-office functionality to your SharePoint portal, which drives portal adoption. The environment shown here is SharePoint 2010, but this works just the same in SharePoint 2013.

You can also take complete control over the presentation of JDE data and functionality inside of SharePoint. This enables you to transform the end-user experience so you can solve core JD Edwards usability issues and increase productivity!

InFlight also works with PeopleSoft and Oracle E-Business Suite.
